Altias Fusion
Features
Designed for a balance between modularisation and optimisation.
Dropouts
▸ Up to 24 W saved (wind-tunnel validated)
In controlled wind-tunnel testing, the Altias Fusion frameset required up to 24W less power than comparable Olympic-tier sprint framesets for a 9.5s flying 200m time trial.
▸ Built for sprint power
The Altias Fusion is engineered around peak forces measured from Olympic-level sprint data. Bottom-bracket torsion, rear-triangle flex and head-tube stiffness is tuned to resist the exact load paths of gate starts, accelerations and high-speed efforts. The result is a front end that holds a line at 70+ km/h and a drive-side structure that directly turns power into forward drive.
▸ Optimised stiffness-to-weight
Stiffness alone isn’t the goal, stiffness per gram is. Through iterative layup development, non-working material was removed while key fibres were aligned to the load paths. The result is a responsive experience, without a dead, over-built feel. It’s the efficiency you notice every time you stand on the pedals.
▸Maximising Reach
Sizes L and XL are extended out towards UCI reach limits to support elite, long-and-low positions. S and M keep the same handling DNA with proportionate stack and reach, so smaller riders get the same sprint posture without compromise.
▸ Low Bottom Bracket
Designed around modern, shorter cranks, the lower BB drops the centre of mass and trims system frontal area for reduced CdA, while retaining safe pedal clearance on the boards.
▸ High-Speed Handling
Steering geometry is tuned for stability above 60 km/h with easy micro-corrections in traffic. Smooth and settled at speed, yet responsive when you need to change line or launch.
▸ Standardised compatibility
A 1 ⅛″ steerer accepts any standard stem, the T47 bottom bracket fits widely available cranksets, and wheel and cockpit interfaces follow established track standards. You can bolt familiar components straight on, while the full Altias system (bars, forks, wheels) unlocks the greatest performance gains.
▸ Future-ready upgrades
A frame-fork interface with deliberate clearance creates room for next-generation fork options and event-specific set-ups (F200, match sprint, keirin, kilo). The frame remains constant, you tune the front end and cockpit to the rider and the race.
▸ Ongoing support
You’re investing an active development platform, with continued collaboration alongside national teams and Olympic-level athletes to optimise the system and interfacing parts and push performance forward.
Aero Performance
The Fusion Frameset shows a consistent advantage over comparable Olympic-tier sprint framesets from the previous Olympic cycle.
We ran a series of tests across a spectrium of race speeds. Swapping framesets while maintaining rider geometry and fit as closely as possible for consistency.
